Apostille seal

An Apostille seal in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a certification of a public document (such as a birth certificate, diploma, or power of attorney) issued by the competent court (usually the Municipal Court) to confirm the authenticity of the signature and seal on the original document. This enables the document to be used in another country that is a member of the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents. It simplifies the legalisation process by eliminating the need for further certifications, and it is issued by the court upon a citizen’s request, provided that the original document is submitted and the prescribed fee is paid.
